[k]nate's birthday

yesterday was [k]nate young of anberlin's birthday.

so I made him cookies and cards and such.
I decided to send pictures of it all in a message on myspace to him.
this is what I sent:

first off I would just like to say
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY [K]NATE!!!

I made you a little birthday card thingy in Paint, a crazy colorful "happy birthday" sign, and no-bake cookies. :)

:)

so I was like "hmm, I should make cookies for [k]nate's birthday!" and I did! I used my friend Elnora's recipe for no-bake cookies and I decided to call them Knate No-Bake Cookies. :) and then my other friend Heather jokingly said "are you going to send them to him?" to which I replied "I'll fed-ex them overnight!" ;)(the cookies were delicious, btw. we ate them in your honor. lol.)

oh, and my friend Heather made this for you in our drafting class one day. :)
so I hope you have a wonderful birthday! :D

<3,
Candace
so I checked on the status of the message like a few hours later, just to see if it was 'read' or not.
it was. and that made me happy knowing that either he had seen it or one of the other guys had and would show him later.
I stayed home from school today b/c I'm sick and didn't get up until like 3:30.
I took a shower and all that jazz and got on myspace like an hour ago and I had new messages.
the first two were from Jack and low-and-behold the third one was from anberlin!
I was like 'yay! he read it fersure!' lol.
so I opened it and this was the reply:
Dear Candace,
Thanks so much for the birthday card and the legit cake! That was awesome. And i hope the no bake cookies were amazing! Thanks again Candace!
- (k)nate
I was quite excited. I started crying actually. lol.
[k]nate seriously is like the coolest person I've ever met in my life.
and it makes me happy he used brackets around the 'k'. lol.
